A huge congratulations to Rhylei on an outstanding achievement at the MacKillop Athletics Championships, taking 1st place in the Girls Long Jump and securing qualification for the NSW PSSA State Athletics Championships in October.

What makes this result even more impressive is that it wasn’t her perfect competition. With two fouled jumps and a winning performance that was still below her personal best, Rhylei showed one of the most important qualities in sport: the ability to perform when it matters.

Competition isn’t always about producing a PB. Sometimes it’s about staying composed, trusting your preparation and finding a way to get the job done under pressure.

Rhylei has worked consistently on her speed, approach, jumping technique and overall athletic development, and this result is another exciting step forward.

We’re incredibly proud of her progress. Now the focus shifts to sharpening the technical details, building confidence and preparing to produce her best performance at State.
